Adult Functional Fitness — Take5athletics

Adult Functional Fitness

Built for former athletes, busy parents, and driven adults who want to move well, feel strong, and handle real-life stress without wrecking their joints. We train for strength, durability, and energy that shows up outside the gym.

Who this is for

Strength and resilience built around your real life

This track is for adults who want to train hard enough to change, but smart enough to last. We respect your history (old injuries, previous sports, busy weeks) and build a plan that fits work, family, and everything else on your plate.

  • Former athletes who miss feeling strong, fast, and coordinated—but not the chronic aches.
  • Busy professionals and parents who need training that plugs into life, not against it.
  • Beginners who want coaching, not chaos—clear progress without random workouts.
  • Anyone who wants to move better, restore positions, and lift without flaring pain.

Every block is built 1:1. We’ll train with intention, use your nervous system as a guide, and progress at a pace that keeps you consistent—not overwhelmed.

How we structure your training

Assessment & starting point We review your history, injuries, schedule, and movement. From there we build a starting plan that meets your body where it actually is.
Blocks with a clear focus 4–6 week blocks with a defined objective—strength, work capacity, or movement quality—so you know what you’re training for and why.
Adjustments as life happens Travel, busy season, or kid chaos? We adapt the block—tuning volume, exercise choices, or format so your training stays doable and effective.
