Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Take5 Athletics (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website or use our training services in Clackamas, Oregon and the greater Portland area.
01Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you fill out our contact form, request a free evaluation, sign up for our newsletter, or begin the checkout process, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, the athlete’s age or program of interest, and any details you include in your message.
Checkout & agreements. If you enroll in a program, we collect the information needed to complete your waiver, training agreement, and payment. Payment card details are processed by a third-party payment provider and are not stored on our servers.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and referring links — through cookies and analytics tools.
02How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule evaluations or sessions
- To provide, manage, and improve our training programs and services
- To process payments and maintain training agreements and waivers
- To send updates, training tips, and events if you opt in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To understand site usage and improve our website and marketing
03How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate, including:
- Email delivery (Resend) — to receive and respond to form submissions
- Text messaging (Twilio) — to send the appointment-related texts you opt into
- Analytics & advertising (Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel) — to measure site usage and reach
- Payment processing — to handle transactions securely
- Website hosting — to serve the site reliably
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or others.
04SMS / Text Messaging Program
How you opt in. Text messaging from Take5 Athletics is entirely optional. The only way to opt in is to actively check the SMS consent box on our free-session request form at take5athletics.com — the box is unchecked by default, and you can submit the form and book your session without checking it. Consent to receive texts is never required to use our website, request a session, or purchase any goods or services, and it is not bundled with acceptance of our Terms or Privacy Policy.
What the consent says. The opt-in checkbox reads: “I agree to receive text messages from Take5 Athletics about my free session — booking link, appointment confirmations, reminders, and occasional follow-ups. Up to 5 messages per month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of booking your session or of any purchase.”
Message types. If you opt in, we send conversational, appointment-related texts only: a link to book, appointment confirmations, reminders, and occasional related follow-ups. We do not send recurring marketing or promotional text blasts.
Message frequency: up to 5 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for assistance.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information collected for text messaging is used only to send the messages described above, and is shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio) as needed to deliver them.
05Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel). You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you may opt out of personalized ads through Google and Meta’s ad settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site features.
06Children’s Privacy
We train youth athletes ages 8–18. Registration, evaluation requests, and agreements for minors are completed by a parent or legal guardian, and we rely on that adult to provide the athlete’s information. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental involvement. If you believe a child has provided us information without consent, please contact us and we will remove it.
07Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Training agreements and records may be retained for the duration of your relationship with us and a reasonable period afterward.
08Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email us at Tatum@take5athletics.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
09Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of our site or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
