FOOTBALLPERFORMANCE.
Win the first ten yards.
Explode off the line. Hold up on contact. Play every snap.
THE FOUNDATION
FOOTBALL IS ABOUT
THE FIRST TEN.
Almost nothing in a game happens beyond ten yards. Snaps are decided in the first two or three steps — off the line, out of a break, into a gap — and then decided again, forty or sixty times, over four quarters.
A forty time is a recruiting number. What actually wins a snap is how much force you put into the ground early, and whether you can still put it there in the fourth quarter with someone in your way.

THE SYSTEM
WHAT WE
DEVELOP
01
TEN-YARD ACCELERATION
The distance that decides most snaps. Starting mechanics, shin angles, and the strength to apply force into the ground early — trained for the start of a sprint rather than the end of one.
02
LOWER-BODY STRENGTH
Squat and hinge strength is the base everything else is expressed from. An athlete who can produce more force has more to convert into a first step, a block, or a tackle — there is no shortcut past it.
03
CONTACT READINESS
Trunk and neck strength, and the ability to brace under load from an angle you did not choose. Collisions are part of the sport; being able to accept one without being moved is trainable.
04
POSITION-SPECIFIC WORK
A lineman and a corner do not need the same programme. Mass and short-range power for one, top speed and change of direction for the other — the assessment decides which, not the position label alone.
05
CHANGE OF DIRECTION
Breaking on the ball, redirecting through a gap, mirroring a receiver. Cutting under control at speed, and the deceleration strength that makes it possible without the knee taking the cost.

THE APPROACH
GET OFF FAST.
HOLD UP.
FINISH THE FOURTH.
Every session is built around one principle: training that transfers. If it does not show up in the first ten yards, in the pads, or in how you look on the last drive — it does not stay in the programme.
Youth and high school athletes are not scaled-down professionals. Loading is matched to training age and readiness, which is how you build a player who is still improving at eighteen rather than one who peaked at fifteen.
Included with every youth program
Their training.
In their pocket.
Every athlete is set up in the Take5 Athletics app on day one. Their program, their roadmap, their numbers — so the work carries on between sessions and you can both see exactly how far they have come.
A Roadmap, Not Random Workouts
Seven stages, from baseline assessment through force production. Your athlete always knows where they are and what unlocks next.
The Day's Work, Laid Out
Today's session and the full week's schedule on the home screen — plus recovery, hydration and fuel at a glance.
Every Movement Demonstrated
A full exercise library filtered by muscle or equipment, each with a video demo — so form is never guesswork when we are not in the room.
Fuel Built for a Growing Athlete
Calorie, protein, carb and fat targets with water tracking. Log a meal by search, barcode, label or photo.
The Six Inches Between the Ears
Journaling, guided breathing, mindfulness and pre-game routines — the part of sport most young athletes are never taught.
Progress You Can Point To
Personal records and session history in one place, with benchmark re-tests every six weeks. Real numbers, not a feeling.
Free with every youth program — set up at the free evaluation, no extra cost, ever.
WIN THE
FIRST STEP.
Explosive off the line, strong through contact, and still moving in the fourth quarter. Built for football athletes.
