SERVING WEST LINN · CLACKAMAS COUNTY
If you're searching for youth strength training in West Linn, you're after one thing for your athlete: progress that actually shows up on the field or court.
West Linn High School and its Lions program set a high bar for athletics, and the youth sports scene feeding into it is just as demanding. Families across this community come to Take5 Athletics for development that matches that standard — a structured plan built for ages 8 to 18, not a one-size-fits-all class. Our Youth Foundations track (ages 8–11) and Athlete Performance track (ages 12–18) meet each athlete where they are.
From West Linn, our facility in Damascus sits a short hop down I-205 — roughly a 15 to 20 minute drive — so it's an easy fit around practices and homework. That short trip across the Willamette is why so many local athletes train here consistently instead of settling for whatever's closest.
At Take5 Athletics, we train athletes with a system built around speed, strength, and movement quality - so they gain confidence, reduce injury risk, and perform at a higher level.

Our Youth Performance program is built for athletes ages 8–18, including middle school and high school athletes across all sports.
Most athletes train 2–4 days per week depending on age, sport schedule, and training experience. Frequency is finalized during the evaluation.
We log sprint times, jump numbers, movement screens, and strength markers, then re-test every ~6 weeks so your athlete can see exactly how far they have come on paper, not just by feel.
Yes. We build around in-season and off-season demands, practice load, and your competition calendar so training supports performance and recovery rather than competing with them.
Start with a free performance evaluation. We assess movement, discuss your athlete's goals, and recommend the best training plan - no commitment required.
