SERVING DAMASCUS · CLACKAMAS COUNTY
For Damascus families searching for youth strength training, the goal is simple: steady, visible progress your athlete can carry onto the field or court.
Damascus sits in the quieter, more rural pocket of the county near Boring, and young athletes from the area head to schools like Damascus Christian High School, Sam Barlow High School, and Adrienne C. Nelson High School. That tight-knit, family-oriented setting is exactly the kind of athlete we love to coach — kids who want a program that grows with them over the years. At Take5 we split development into Youth Foundations for ages 8–11 and Athlete Performance for ages 12–18, so every athlete from 8 to 18 is coached for their stage instead of lumped into one generic class.
Getting here is easy too: the drive from Damascus to our Damascus facility runs only about ten minutes, so training two to four times a week never has to swallow a whole evening. The payoff is a coach-led program focused on what genuinely develops young athletes — not just keeping them busy.
At Take5 Athletics, we train athletes with a system built around speed, strength, and movement quality - so they gain confidence, reduce injury risk, and perform at a higher level.

Our Youth Performance program is built for athletes ages 8–18, including middle school and high school athletes across all sports.
A typical schedule is 2–4 days per week, and we land on the right number based on your athlete's age, sport season, and experience. We confirm it together at the evaluation.
Nothing is guesswork - we log sprint times, jump numbers, movement quality, and key strength markers, then re-test roughly every 6 weeks so families can see the gains on paper.
