SERVING OREGON CITY · CLACKAMAS COUNTY

If you're searching for youth strength training in Oregon City, you're likely looking for one thing: real progress you can see on the field or court.

As the historic Clackamas County seat, Oregon City carries a deep-rooted sports tradition, and that pride shows up in its young athletes - many of them suiting up as Oregon City High School Pioneers or coming up through the local youth ranks. Families here take competition seriously, and they want training that holds athletes to that same standard.

Take5 is a manageable 15 to 20 minute drive north up I-205, an easy commitment for an athlete who's serious about getting better. Our program runs a Youth Foundations track for ages 8–11 and an Athlete Performance track for ages 12–18, so whether your athlete is a future Pioneer or still finding their sport, the strength, speed, and movement work is built for their stage.

At Take5 Athletics, we train athletes with a system built around speed, strength, and movement quality - so they gain confidence, reduce injury risk, and perform at a higher level.

  • Speed & Acceleration: first step, mechanics, and athletic movement
  • Strength Development: age-appropriate training that builds powerful positions
  • Jumping & Power: plyometrics and force production that transfers to sport
  • Durability: mobility + control to help athletes stay healthy

Most athletes train 2–4 days per week depending on age, sport schedule, and training experience. Frequency is finalized during the evaluation.

About every ~6 weeks we re-test and compare results so progress is never a guess - sprint speed, jumping power, strength benchmarks, and movement quality all get tracked and shared with you.
